THOUSANDS of people had fun on the canals, as punters and boaters were catered for at this year's Brighouse Canal, Beer & Music Festival.
Boats filled the Calder and Hebble Canal, which runs through Brighouse, with four boats available for free trips up and down the waterway all weekend.
More than 20,000 people came to the town for the festival, organised by the Brighouse Business Initiative, from places including Manchester, Leeds and Derbyshire.
Other attractions included a market, beer festival, and live music in the town, with four stages playing rock 'n' roll, folk and brass bands music.
Steven Lord, event organiser, said: "It was very successful.
"This year's has been by far and away the best. It is the third year we have done it."
