IT was cheers to a Beer and Banger Festival in Eldwick, in aid of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
The event, held on Friday and yesterday in Eldwick Memorial Hall in Otley Road, attracted more than 600 people.
Visitors sampled a choice of 30 local beers and ciders and also pork sausages, brazed in cider, from butcher Richard Emmett, of R&M Meats in Bingley.
A Yorkshire Air Ambulance helicopter also made an appearance at the event last night.
Tony Clegg, chairman of the Eldwick Village Society, said: "It has been a successful event.
"We won't know how much money we have raised for a week or so yet. This was the seventh year we have held the festival."
