A FIRE in a disused building is believed to have been started deliberately.
The blaze in Badger Lane, Hipperholme, near Brighouse, broke out in a single storey building just after 7.30pm yesterday.
Fire crews from Cleckheaton, Rastrick, Illingworth, Halifax and Huddersfield were to the scene after the roof collapsed at the derelict building.
The crews attended the incident until midnight on Wednesday.
No-one was injured or suffered any smoke inhalation in the blaze.
A Fire Service spokesperson said: "The cause of the fire is unknown.
"It is most likely it was started deliberately."
