BURGLARS stole thousands of pounds during a night-time raid at a bank in Wyke.
The burglary happened at 4.20am yesterday at the Barclays branch in Town Gate.
Police said a car, believed to be an Audi estate, pulled up outside the cashpoint before three men got out and started to tamper with the machine.
The trio then forced their way into the bank and broke into the machine before stealing the cash.
Detectives believe the car was driven away towards Brighouse, but think it had been in the Wyke area for a number of hours prior to the incident. It is thought to have had the registration number GD14 HDO, although police believe this to be a false plate.
The car also had two roof bars at either side and distinctive alloy wheels.
Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, said: "Enquiries are at an early stage, but we believe this vehicle was seen in the area in the time leading up to the burglary and would appeal for anyone who saw it to contact DC 5013 Jones at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111."
