POLICE say they are increasingly concerned for the welfare of 46-year-old woman who has gone missing from her Cleckheaton home.

Tracey Bamford (pictured) has not been seen since leaving home without prior warning early yesterday.

She is described as about 5ft tall, with long, dyed ginger or golden hair, with a mole on her right cheek.

She was last seen wearing a long, black coat with fur hood, and black boots.

Detective Inspector Mark Truelove, of Kirklees CID, said: "This is completely out of character for Tracey.

"We are keen to hear from anyone who believes they have seen her since the early hours of Wednesday morning, or with information about her current whereabouts.

"We would similarly urge Tracey herself to make contact with the police or a family member to confirm that she is safe and well."

Anyone with information is asked to call Kirklees District Police via 101.
