POLICE have released CCTV stills of two people they want to identify in relation to an incident of theft at the Northgate branch of Tesco in Cleckheaton.

PC Chris Birkenshaw, from the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: "The incident occurred around 11.35am on February 17, when a male and female suspect are believed to have filled a trolley with food and spirits, including six bottles of Grey Goose vodka valued at £228, before walking out of the store without making any attempt to pay.

"The CCTV footage is good quality and I would ask people to look at the images and contact police if they recognise either of these two individuals. Shoplifting increases the cost of goods for everyone and any reports will be treated seriously and fully investigated by police."

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Birkenshaw via 101, quoting crime reference number 13150066350.
