THERE will be an increased police presence outside a Brighouse school because of complaints about parents' vehicles causing obstruction or blocking driveways.
PCSO Brian Mardell has increased patrols outside Woodhouse Primary School, Daisy Road, to watch out for drivers who park on marked lines, too close to junctions and on pavements, or who block driveways.
He said: "A number of drivers have already been warned. Next time, they may not be so lucky - fixed penalty notices for causing an obstruction will be issued."
Police advise car sharing or walking at least some of the journey to school to alleviate the problem.
