Talk on 16th-century magic
AN ILLUSTRATED talk entitled The Mixenden Treasure - A True Tale of 16th Century Magic in Yorkshire will be given by John Billingsley in Cleckheaton next month.
Organised by the Spen Valley Historical Society, the talk will take place on Wednesday, February 11, at 7.30pm, at Our Lady and St Paul's Catholic Church, Dewsbury Road, Marsh, Cleckheaton.
Entry is £2 for members, £4 for guests, and includes light refreshments at 7pm.
