Kirklees Museums are taking part in the festivities surrounding the visit of The Tour de France to Yorkshire in July.
Welcome to Yorkshire has organised a 100-day Yorkshire Festival to showcase the region’s finest culture.
As part of this, Kirklees Museums and Galleries have organised Le Tour des Musees to encourage local residents and visitors to visit all the museums and try a range of crafts and activities.
The Mayor of Kirklees, Coun Martyn Bolt, will launch the event by bicycle on Friday when he will cycle between the museums, joined by museums staff alomng the way.
