Settle Parish Church to host Snowdrop Sunday event

Snowdrops at Holy Ascension Church, Settle
Settle Parish Church will hold its Snowdrop Sunday event this weekend.
It allows visitors to look around the church and wander through the magnificent display of snowdrops in the churchyard.
On Sunday, the church will be open between 2pm and 4pm and home-made refreshments will be available throughout the afternoon.
And, residents can also enjoy the snowdrop walk at Austwick Hall, Austwick.
Over the past few years, hall owners Eric Culley and Michael Pearson have planted more than 100,000 snowdrops and they will open their gardens to the public, between noon and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday, February 25 and 26 and March 3 and 4.
In addition, the woodland gardens will be open on Wednesday to raise money for the National Gardens Scheme, which supports various charities.
