Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a cyclist was hit by the driver of a car that didn't stop.
It happened at 9.15pm on Saturday on the A6069 Broughton Road in Skipton.and involved a white vehicle and a pedal cyclist.
The pedal cyclist, a 26-year-old local man, received a minor arm injury and did not require hospital treatment.
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing a white vehicle overtaking another car prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.
A spokesman said: "In particular, we are appealing for the driver of the car being overtaken to come forward as they maybe a crucial witness."
