BURGLARS have stolen 24 laptops from Craven College's Campus at Skipton Auction Mart - for the second time in two months.

Police say the offender broke into the building at about 10.10pm on Sunday, May 15, forcing a laptop security cabinet and stealing 14 Toshiba Sat Pro i3 laptops.

A police spokesman said: "We are conducting inquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

"In particular, we are appealing for information about any suspect vehicles in and around the area of the auction mart or parked on the A629 western bypass which is located at the back of the Auction Mart.

"This incident could be linked to a previous burglary at the Aireville Campus on March 7 which took place at approximately 7.15pm in which a similar amount of computers were stolen."
