Charity cash at birthday
A WOMAN’S 60th birthday celebrations raised £1,131 for Cancer Research UK.
Shirley Arnott held a party at Glusburn Institute and requested donations in lieu of cards and gifts.
Live music was provided by the band Ofay and there was a raffle.
Mrs Arnott, of Starkey Lane, Farnill, and her husband John pay tribute to everyone for their support. They also thank all those who donated raffle prizes.
