A 46-YEAR-OLD driver from Sutton-in-Craven is to stand trial after denying failing to stop at the scene of an accident in Cononley.
Patrick Boreham is accused of failing to stop after being the driver of a Citroen C1 involved in an accident on Crosshills Road on August 31, which caused damage to a Ford Transit.
Boreham, of Bent Lane, appeared at Skipton Magistrates’ Court on Friday when he denied the charge and his trial was set for next March. He pleaded guilty to a separate charge of driving without due care and attention on Crosshills Road.
