TO celebrate its new status, Skipton Academy is planning a candlelit carol service at the town’s Holy Trinity Church.
And the school – formerly known as Aireville School – is inviting along all parents, students, staff, governors, relatives and friends to spread the Christmas cheer.
It will take place on Wednesday, December 17, at 7.30pm and, afterwards, mince pies and mulled wine will be served in The Rectory Café.
Principal Wendy Hamilton said: “I hope this event will be significant for Skipton and everyone involved with The Skipton Academy and its transition from Aireville School and that both past, present and future friends will join us for the carol service.
“I look forward to meeting you all and having the opportunity to enjoy the carol service and sharing some refreshments.”
