AN “ACCELERATED reader programme” is helping to bring the joys of reading to younger pupils at South Craven School.
The new reading scheme, specially designed for Year Seven pupils, has been established at the school by John Lovell, assistant head teacher and head of English.
The initiative helps match those books which are best suited to the pupils’ individual reading abilities.
