Waitrose store to enter Otley Carnival parade

A supermarket will be entering this year’s Otley Carnival parade.

The organisers of the 2012 event, on Saturday, June 16, say they are delighted to have the Waitrose store on board – and hope the town’s other superstores will follow suit. This year’s carnival parade will take its inspiration from the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, although entrants are also free to choose their own theme.
