A MAN and a woman, who were banned by an airline after disrupting a holiday flight to Leeds-Bradford Airport, have been charged by police.
The 63-year-old woman and 56-year-old man, of Leeds, have been charged with being drunk on an aircraft and a public order offence. They will appear before magistrates later this month.
Police were called as the Jet2 flight from Lanzarote landed at the airport in July and the pair were arrested. They had reportedly ignored safety instructions, used aggressive and threatening language towards cabin crew, and inappropriately touched a female crew member.
