ARCHITECTS have been appointed to help draw up a masterplan for the development of Aireborough.
Watson Batty has been commissioned by Aireborough Neighbourhood Development Forum to frame a ‘placemaking’ masterplan for development up to 2028. The results will be examined by a government inspector before a local referendum.
The first stage will look at local issues, desires, and ideas, in order to create a vision plan by next spring. Funding will come from neighbourhood planning grants, with an initial grant of £7,000 obtained in the summer.
