The following have been dealt with by Bradford and Keighley magistrates:

Tariq Mahmood, aged 33, of Fifth Avenue, Bradford Moor; three counts of depositing controlled waste without the authority of a current waste management permit, £300 fine, £595 costs. Derren Parker, aged 41, of Willow Drive, Moor Top; making false statement under Child Support Act, £1,000 fine, £115 costs. Simone Pringle, aged 29, of Curlew Street, Canterbury; failure to comply with community order, six months’ conditional discharge, £65 costs. Daniel Paul Beadsworth, aged 30, of Birch Lane, West Bowling; assault, jailed for 26 weeks.

Matthew Tasker, aged 24, of Summer Hall Ing, Wyke; two counts of attempted theft, 12 months’ community order made with 150 hours’ unpaid work, £475 compensation. Jarnail Singh, aged 34, of Kingfisher Grove, Fairweather Green; failure to stop after an accident, £140 fine, £100 costs, licence endorsed failure to report an accident, no separate penalty. Ahsan Arshad, aged 22, of Aireville Road, Frizinghall; driving while unfit through drugs, community order made with curfew, banned from driving for 24 months; failure to stop on the order of a constable, no separate penalty.

Waqas Hussain, aged 22, of Leamington Street, Heaton; re-open case of driving without insurance, £100 fine, £100 costs, licence endorsed; re-open case of driving without MoT, no separate penalty. Robert Edward Varazinskis, aged 24, of Kilnsey Fold, Silsden; assaulted special constable, community order made, £85 costs. Rebecca Wright, aged 23, of Compton Street, Tong Street, Dudley Hill; failure to surrender to custody, £100 fine, £15 costs; using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, £35 fine.

Philip Anthony Tomlinson, aged 18, of Sandygate Terrace, Laisterdyke; two counts of being the keeper of a horse which was found straying on a highway, £100 fine, £100 costs. Mohammed Abbas, aged 28, of Baxandall Street, West Bowling; drink-driving, community order made with 120 hours’ unpaid work, £85 costs, banned from driving for 24 months; driving without insurance, no separate penalty. Daniel James Bennett, aged 25, of Peterborough Road, Eccleshill; theft, going equipped for theft, committing offence during period of conditional discharge, 12 months’ community order made with 120 hours’ unpaid work, £200 compensation.
