Administrator says RFL will make decision on latest offer today
12:31pm Wednesday 8th August 2012 in Bradford
By Hannah Postles, T&A Reporter
Brendan Guilfoyle
The administrator of struggling Bradford Bulls today revealed he is considering a new, undisclosed offer for the club - worth more than a previous bid by Super League Europe.
Brendan Guilfoyle, partner at The P&A Partnership, said the Rugby Football League is considering the takeover deal from a new potential buyer, whose identity has not been disclosed, and is expected to make its decision this afternoon.
Mr Guilfoyle said: “I put the offer to the RFL last Friday and they will make their decision later on this afternoon.
“I understand the frustration of fans, players and staff that we haven’t sold the club yet. The administrators have a duty to creditors to aim to get the best deal possible so we submit all offers where funds are proved.
“This new offer is for more than Super League (Europe) Ltd put forward so we felt obliged to submit to the RFL for consideration.”

The fact is no one is going to make a big offer unless SL membership is guaranteed.Anyone would be crazy to invest and buy a club that is in the Championship with no prospect of promotion.Bulls should be forcibly relegated after the next 4 games but of course they won't as SL and the RFL are bent to the core.Hope Bulls survive but not as an SL club as they gave up all right to being in SL with the farce of the last few months.

No on can tell me London are a greater asset to SL than Bulls, I don't think you could even argue Wakefield are a greater asset.

Surely if they pay their creditors and have financial stability, along with a viable business plan they have as much right as, say Wakefield did?
Lets hope this is good news so the regular 11k can enjoy Friday.

This Bid that has been on the table since last week covers ALL debts to creditors and the business plan that has been submitted in detail as we have been requested to do so shows how the club will be turned into a profit making organisation within 4 years. The Business plan that has been submitted has been worked on by staying in Super League. The RFL stated that all debts must be paid to ensure the remainder of the license. This has been taken care off. The offer is totally unconditional and ensures the Bulls will remain at Odsal and Funds will be in place over the next 4 seasons to spend the full Salary cap. We have already today held talks with Mr Potter concerning an extended contract and have advised the UK Border agency in order to secure a new Visa for my Potter and others as of yet unnamed. We now await the 2 parties.

I listened to BS of the RFL, and he is saying he doesn't know what league we will be playing in next year.. Boots and All was not very helpful, apart form Eddie Hemmings who actually said it as it will be, if the Bulls go down to championship 1....there will be no Bradford Bulls, period???
Mc Dermot and O' Connor, say glibly they think our support will follow us wherever we go, and the fighting spirit that we have shown etc. etc etc.
Hogwash! We will have no money-no players-no coach and an expensive ground to run, and the revoked licence will mean at least another two years in the wilderness and more.
It's time it was all finished, with a decision one way or another.
All fans., players / staff/ coaches and their families are absolutely fed up with the underhand way this fiasco has been dealt with.
How much longer ?
PS If the RFL were politicians, we at least could vote them out of office.

The simple question is... IF the latest offer for the Bulls is 'unconditional' as per RFL and includes paying all creditors including HMRC and presenting a business plan together with proof of funding over the next 2/3 years, why would the Bulls not expect to see out the remaining 2 seasons of the Super League license (Liquidation has not taken place) and re-applying along with the rest at the next round of Licensing. This is not aimed at Bull hating or Bull baiting opinion, just on the conditions set out above. I ask this because this is what my Clubs future relies upon, it appears.

Absolutely accurate as far as I know?
All parameters are covered, and even the amount seems to be right.
Our club has been bandied about so much with all that's gone on dare we hope for a simple solution??

The game in the London area is growing faster than in any other SL clubs area. These juniors are potential England players of the future. Replacing London with Halifax or Featherstone etc will result in a hugh loss of talent to the game. Not one single extra player would come through the ranks if another of the heartland clubs was admitted to the League.
It might take a few more years for the London experiment to succeed but lets remember that clubs like Hudds, Widnes, Salford etc have taken over 100 years to get crowds of approx 5000!!! In fact Wakefield v Castleford struggled to get 7000 for thei "big" derby game at the weekend.
Kick London out if you think it will improve things but so called Heartland clubs like Workington, Doncaster, Hull, Hull KR, Oldham, Huddersfield, Salford, Widnes, Castleford, Wakefield have all spent less time in SL and most have brought very little to the competition.
Restricting the game to the M62 corridor is a sure way of killing it. The national team will never beat Australia, We will lose TV revenue & sponsorship, the players will have to go part time or play Rugby Union & the game will stagnate and die.
Some Northern Numpties might not like it, but the game needs to develop outside the west Yorkhire/ South Lancs area. The problems the game face are not the fault of London Broncos. It wasnt their fault only 6000 northerners bothered to turn up to watch an England game at Huddersfield recently.
The game suffers because of its "northern"image. Lets put more effort into the development clubs & less into the Widnes's, Halifax's, Featherstones, Leighs etc, who've all tried and failed before, on many occasions
