Occupy Westfield protesters to meet Bradford Council leader

The Occupy Westfield site
A group of protesters occupying the Westfield site will meet with the leader of Bradford Council today at City Hall.
Known as Occupy Westfield, the group will also meet with Barra Mac Ruairi, the Council’s strategic director, when they meet Councillor Dave Green at 10.30am.
The protesters had initially agreed to meet at the Midland Hotel following the refusal by Council officials to meet in the Urban Gardens. But they decided there was no point in taxpayers funding a meeting room at the hotel and so agreed to meet officials at City Hall instead.
They arrived at the stalled Westfield shopping centre (pictured) at the end of May and have pledged to stay there until June 11.
