  It says he represented the old Odsal ward for another 13 years before that, hence the 'over 20 years experience' line.
  
  It's a bit difficult for everyone to blame him for the current state of Bradford when he was only Regen portfolio holder from 2010-2012 (and I think 1997-99), when the Hole and the Odeon were issues created in the main over the last decade (Hole created, Odeon a situation made worse) under the Tory/Lib Dem Council.
  
  His long-standing position has been that he supports retaining as much of the Odeon as possible. That has never changed.

  I'd agree that it's a bit unfair to blame the city centre debacle on Green, but what annoys me is his lack of acknowledgement of any problems. Most of his statements always seem to be him reading out a press release from somebody else; especially in the lead-up to City Park opening he seemed to believe that nobody could think it was anything other the Eighth Wonder."
