Man trapped in car after Cottingley road smash

A man had to be freed by firefighters after the car he was travelling in was involved in a collision in Cottingley.
Crews from Shipley and Fairweather Green were called to Airedale Avenue, in Cottingley, at 3.45pm today following reports of a collision between two cars.
A West Yorkshire Fire Service spokesman said the one male casualty was trapped.
The spokesman said: “He was extricated by fire service personnel and was then transported to hospital by ambulance.”
