A 27-year-old man is in a serious but stable condition today after being shot in West Bowling last night.
The man is currently being treated in hospital after the shooting at 11pm. The alarm was raised after he arrived at a nearby address and someone raised the alarm.
It is not known if he staggered to the address or someone took him there.
A Police spokesman said that they were called at 11pm last night to reports of a man having received injuries consistent with a shot gun discharge.
“The incident occurred in the Parkway area of West Bowling and enquiries are currently ongoing to establish the full circumstances,” the spokesman added.
The man’s injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
