Staff and volunteers at Cancer Support Bradford and Airedale (CSBA) are reaching out to the community to make ‘Fundraising Friends’ for 2012.
To start the appeal and provide the new charity chums with information on the upcoming events in need of support, the charity is hosting a ‘bring a friend’ evening at The Cancer Support Centre on Smith Lane, Bradford, on Thursday, February 9 from 7pm.
The event will allow people to introduce themselves, get to know fellow ‘fundraising friends’ and ask questions, while having a refreshments and learn more about the charity and the community it benefits.
Relying on voluntary help and donations, the appeal aims to provide more support to the current 70 volunteers.
If you are interested in getting involved or would like to attend the evening meet-up, contact the fundraising team on (01274) 775588 to find out more.
