A mother and her four children had to be found alternative accommodation following a fire at their Bradford home.
Firefighters were called to Longfield Drive, East Bowling, shortly after 8am on Saturday, where they found a first-floor bedroom alight. The blaze caused significant smoke damage and badly damaged one of the bedrooms.
The woman and her children had already got out of the house when firefighters arrived after they had been alerted to the danger by a smoke alarm.
Volunteers from the Red Cross fire emergency support vehicle attended the scene to help the family find alternative accommodation.
