Teenager being quizzed over incident

A 15-year-old boy has been taken to hospital following a serious assault in Bradford.

The incident happened in the Manningham Lane area at about 10pm on Wednesday.

Police have cordoned off the crime scene, including a snicket that runs between Mornington Villas and Walmer Villas.

Business bosses arriving to open up for the day were shocked to see the street had been sealed off.

The injured boy, who is from the Manningham area, is said to be in a stable condition at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

* A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Manningham on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
