Bradford man to be sentenced after guilty plea

A 20-year-old man is to be sentenced at Bradford Crown Court for breaking a two-month-old baby’s arm.

The man, who cannot be named to protect the identity of the child, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm.

His plea of not guilty to the more serious offence of causing the infant grievous bodily harm with intent was accepted by the prosecution today. The case was adjourned until March 12 for the preparation of a probation service report.

The Bradford man was granted bail until the sentencing hearing.
