Residents in a block of flats were woken early by a blaze outside their building today.
The fire in Regency Court, off Whetley Lane, Girling-ton, Bradford, is thought to have been started deliberately at about 3am.
A waste bin was destroyed but the fire did not spread to any other property.
Fairweather Green firefighters dealt with the incident and used a positive-pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the hallway of the nearby flats.
