Police have renewed an appeal for information about a missing man who suffers from schizophrenia.

Spencer Wright, 36, who lives in Clitheroe Street, Skipton, was last seen by his flat-mate last Tuesday at 11am.

Mr Wright may be in Keighley and police need anyone who knows his whereabouts to get in touch.

A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said there were concerns for his safety as his condition makes him a vulnerable person.

He is described as 6ft tall, of stocky build, with collar-length dark, scruffy hair.

He was wearing a thigh-length grey jacket and shabby trainers.

Anyone with information about Mr Wright should contact 0845 6060247 and give the reference: 12090020417.

Meanwhile, police are also appealing for information about Bradford father-of-six Akram Hussain, 48, who has been missing from his home in Heaton Grove, Heaton, Bradford, since January 20.

He works as a chef at Caspian takeaway restaurant, in Morley Street, Bradford.

He was last seen driving a dark-green BMW estate, registration W162 NLF. He is believed to have connections in Dewsbury and Barnsley.

Call the police on 0845 6060606 or the missing people helpline on 0500 700700.
