A great-grandfather celebrated his 100th birthday by taking part in a conga.

A celebration was held for father-of-six Jimmy Hannan at St Christopher’s Day Centre in Holme Wood, Bradford.

Mr Hannan, who has 27 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, led the dancing at today's party.

Vanon Gordon Dey, Vicar of Tong and Holme Wood, said: “He is an amazing guy. He was brilliant at the party, we were doing the Conga at one point. He is quite remarkable and still lives independently. He is a bundle of fun and he makes you laugh with the stories he tells.”
