Man charged with Ilkley Moor attack

Police have charged a 55-year-old man with the attempted murder and attempted rape of a woman on Ilkley Moor in 2006.
Detectives have also charged him with rape, indecent assault and abduction of a 16-year-old girl and kidnap and false imprisonment of an 11-year-old boy in the Halton area of Leeds back in 1997.
The man, from Knottingley, was arrested on Tuesday in the Hayle area of Cornwall.
He will appear before Bradford Magistrates this morning.
