THE identity of a man whose body was found at a house in Brighouse last week has been revealed by police.
Carl Wood, 29, of Eastwood Street, Brighouse, was found at a house in Whinney Hill Park in the town at 2pm on Thursday.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 38-year-old man was arrested in connection with the incident, but has since been released pending further investigation.
Detective Chief Inspector Chris Gibson, who is leading the investigation, said: “The unexpected death of anyone in the community is always a shock to those locally, and extremely distressing to the family and friends of the deceased.
“Our enquiries in to understanding the circumstances that led to Mr Wood’s death are ongoing.”
