A MAN was taken to hospital following a house fire in Queensbury.
Firefighters from Fairweather Green and Illingworth were called to Oxford Close at around 4am this morning, where a blaze had broken out in the loft.
The man was taken to hospital by ambulance and a female with smoke inhalation was checked over by paramedics at the scene.
Two breathing apparatus and a hose reel were used.
A West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue spokesperson said smoke detectors were fitted and working.
