A 25-YEAR-OLD man from Bradford has been arrested in connection with a shooting incident at a property in Wyke.
It is understood a woman in her 20s and her young daughter were inside at the time.
Officers were called to Wedgemoor Close in Wyke just before midnight on Wednesday, February 14, after men were reported to be trying to gain entry to some flats.
The caller then reported hearing a vehicle drive away.
The arrested man remains in custody and enquiries are continuing, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said today.
Officers attended and found damage to a door which was believed to have been caused by a firearm. Further examination established this was consistent with a firearms discharge.
The Firearms Prevent Team is leading the investigation and anyone with information which can assist their enquiries is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 1967 of February 14, or to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
