TWO men have been arrested by police investigating an attempted armed robbery at a Haworth convenience shop.
On Saturday October 21 a man armed with a baseball bat threatened staff at Sun Street Stores and demanded money, before fleeing empty handed.
Police have revealed that two men were recently arrested in relation to the incident. The Keighley Neighbourhood Policing Team announced the arrests as part of their online “Advent Calendar” where they are revealing an arrest or raid each day in December.
The Telegraph & Argus has contacted the police for more information about the arrests, but have yet to receive a response.
