POLICE cordoned off an area outside the post office in Airedale Road, Undercliffe, this evening.
No details have been given why the road was closed although there was a Crime Scene Investigation officer photographing the road where a number of yellow markers had been placed.
In April last year the outside wall of the post office had been damaged after the cashpoint had been targeted by raiders.
Tonight the machine looked untouched.
The cordon was lifted at around 9pm.
