POLICE in Bradford have arrested two teenagers who failed to stop in a car carrying false registration plates.
The pair, both 17, ran off after abandoning the vehicle – which had been stolen in a burglary in Leeds – and were chased and caught by police.
A police spokesman said the vehicle had been used in a burglary in Clayton on Friday, September 22.
The pair were caught on Saturday, September 23, and arrested by Roads Policing officers with help from Bradford West officers.
“A short pursuit took place and the males abandoned their vehicle, before being captured after a foot chase.

“The pair are in custody awaiting interview,” added the Bradford West police spokesman.
Police are linking the arrests with the earlier arrest of a man in Great Horton on suspicion of one burglary and two attempted burglaries in the Clayton area.
