AN 18-year-old arrested following a police chase that ended in a multi-vehicle crash has been released without charge.
Anis Hussain, of Thornbury Avenue, Thornbury, was arrested in Leeds Road on Saturday evening, along with a 19-year-old male, following a police chase.
The two men were in a red Vauxhall Corsa when police officers tried to stop the vehicle. After a pursuit lasting around 30 seconds, the Corsa crashed in Leeds Road, causing damage to three other vehicles.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police confirmed the 18-year-old was released without charge, and the 19-year-old had been released pending further inquiries.
In the crash, the Corsa was written off, and damage was also caused to a black Volkswagen Golf and a grey BMW.
