A BRADFORD man who was arrested in connection with multiple car arsons in Tyersal last week has been released pending further inquiries by police.
The 31-year-old was arrested on Thursday, July 20, following the attacks, which left two cars and two vans badly damaged in Tyersal Drive, Tyersal.
Residents, including children as young as four, fled their homes following the attacks, fearing the cars - which were parked on the driveways of two homes - and the vans parked in the street might “explode” at any moment.
Police said the vehicles were set alight by a number of men who arrived in the street in in a black Audi A3.
