A 17-YEAR-old youth has been charged after a teenager was stabbed in Bradford.
The victim, also a 17-year-old, of the attack in Great Horton Road yesterday remains in a stable condition in hospital today suffering from stab wounds, a West Yorkshire Police spokesman said.
The suspect faces two charges of possession of a bladed/sharp pointed article in a public place and wounding with intent. He will appear before Bradford Youth Court tomorrow.
Large crowds gathered as an air ambulance helicopter landed directly outside City Hall, with paramedics then seen making their way towards Randall Well Street, which was cordoned off by police from the side of the Alhambra Theatre to the bottom of the junction of Great Horton Road and Chester Street.
The suspect was initially arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
