ROADS policing officers have warned drivers to stick to the speed limits after conducting an operation on a main road in Bradford city centre this week.

After requests from the public, officers from the Bradford West Neighbourhood Policing Team were out on speed watch patrol on Midland Road, stopping 22 motorists for exceeding the 30mph speed limit.

The drivers were all issued with traffic offence reports, leading to three penalty points on their licence and a £100 fine.

A police spokesman said: “Future events have been planned in different locations, so remember to stick to the speed limit. They are in force to protect our communities.”
