THREE people were shot last night in what police are calling a "targeted attack" on a Bradford residential street.

The targets, two men aged 22 and 41 and a 38-year-old woman, are not believed to have been seriously injured.

Police are hunting a 4 x 4 vehicle that was seen fleeing the scene in the aftermath of the shooting.

Parkway remains cordoned off this morning from its junction with Highbridge Terrace to Sandside Close, including a large grassed area to the side of the road.

A police van, police car, and an unmarked police vehicle are at the scene, with uniformed officers standing guard at the edges of the cordon.

The main police activity appears to be focused on a house in the middle of the police cordon, with officers seen coming and going from the driveway.

One resident who lives on Parkway said she had been awoken by police arriving on the street at around 2am this morning.

Another man said he had heard "three loud bangs" late last night, with police arriving on the scene around 20 minutes later.

Another resident who lives just outside the cordon said they thought the incident was a shooting after hearing "three measured bangs".

They said a number of ambulances then attended the scene alongside armed police officers.

One woman who lives on Highbridge Terrace said she had been told the shots had been fired through the window of a house.

Detective Superintendent Nick Wallen, of the Homicide and Major Enquiries Team, said: "Police were called to Parkway, Bradford, at about 1am today following a report of a firearms discharge.
