A YORKSHIRE charity wanting to bus inner-city families into the countryside is still looking for more donations.
The Yorkshire Dales Society will use the money so it can operate its Family Experience buses this summer.
Dales & Bowland Community Interest Company, a social enterprise owned by The Yorkshire Dales Society, has teamed up with community groups across Bradford and Keighley to give less well-off families in those areas a rural treat but lack of government funding is hampering getting the project on the road.
The Community Interest Company would run the low-fare family buses on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. It would also organise free family walks, visits and events. Anyone who can helk should go to dalesbus.org to find out more.
