SHIPLEY MP Philip Davies will address the Bradford Property Forum on the district’s land allocation plan on April 5.
The Core Strategy is currently on hold after Mr Davies raised concerns to Sajid Javid, Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, over the use of green belt land for development.
The plan had been given the go-ahead by a government inspector and had been due to be approved by Bradford Council prior to the intervention.
Allan Booth, who will chair the event at The Bradford Hotel, said: “Many businesses have questioned the timing of his request for the planning minister to intervene, when the strategy has been years in the making.”
Tickets cost £25, or £15 for members of West & North Yorkshire Chamber of Commerce. For details, e-mail events@wnychamber.co.uk, or call 01274 230057.
