A PRIMARY school has been told it is “good and improving” following a recent visit by Ofsted inspectors.
East Morton CofE Primary School on Street Lane recently underwent a short inspection, and in a letter to head Kathryn Savage, Ofsted said the school had maintained its “good” rating it was given in 2012.
The letter says: “The leadership team has maintained the good quality of education in the school since the last inspection.
“As a result, East Morton CofE Primary is a good and improving school in which parents rightly have great confidence and where pupils thrive. One parent described the school as ‘a second home for our children’.
“Pupils demonstrate impeccable manners.
“Provision for pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development, rooted in strong values, is exceptional.”
