THE Telegraph & Argus Christmas Toys & Tins Appeal is generating lots of children's gifts and tinned food for the most vulnerable people in the district, but there is plenty of room for more.
Members of the public, as well as T&A staff, have donated items that will be distributed by our chosen charity, Bradford Women's Aid.
The charity helps vulnerable women and children who have become victims of domestic abuse. Often they have little to look forward to at Christmas so our appeal is designed to bring some festive cheer to those people most in need.
A number of businesses have already pledged support and donated items to our office.
We are looking for unwrapped gifts for boys and girls, along with tinned food, both sweet and savoury, which have lengthy 'best before' dates.
All donations will be gratefully received. They can be left at our reception in Hall Ings between 9.30am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, before December 17.
