A MAN caught with hundreds of indecent images of children on his phone has been sentenced to a three-year sex offender treatment programme.
Benjamin O’Sullivan, 33, of Holroyd Hill, Wibsey, Bradford, was deeply ashamed and already seeking help, Bradford Crown Court heard yesterday. He pleaded guilty to possession of 600 indecent images, including 230 at the most serious Category A. They were found on O’Sullivan’s phone when the police raided his home on March 14. He admitted downloading them from various websites.
Judge Jonathan Durham Hall QC made a ten-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order to monitor O’Sullivan’s future internet use and ordered him to sign on the sex offenders’ register for five years.
