THOUSANDS of people flocked to the popular Clayton Dickensian Christmas Market yesterday.
The 12th annual event, held on Clayton Lane and in Victoria Park, the library and the village hall, featured a variety of stalls, stage and street entertainment, a funfair, and street food.
Visitors to the event hailed its “fantastic atmosphere” as the weather stayed fine.
A spokesman said: “It is an important event in the Clayton calendar and is well supported through local community groups, businesses and residents, and raises several thousands of pounds for annually-chosen charities.”
This year’s charities were the Bradford Hospitals Children’s Charity, the Methodist Housing Association, and Clayton Cricket Club.
